ATTEMPT AT CLASSICS

by Anita Skoglund

We have the honour of presenting six motives from the classical era, from the pen of a Swedish artist, Anita Skoglund. Two of the drawings treat mythological "action" - Leda, who is seduced by Zeus in the shape of a swan, and Niobe, trying to remove Artemis' arrow from her back. The other four images are representing authentic classical artwork, e.g. Nike from Samothrake or a partial view of the Propylees on the Akropolis.
